I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 7 yr old daughter. Received from Amazon in a timely fashion. 1 GB iPod shuffle is very small but very easy for a young child to use. There is no fuss with this iPod. It was very easy to download music to it from our laptop computer. I did not download from music purchased on iTunes -- I installed music from my CDs.
