I got the Ipod and it only had a small scratch on the screen and a few small ones on the back, but no big deal. I have had a few problems with it freezing and refusing to charge and I don't know if that is a common problem with all ipods or if its just because i bought a used one. I don't know. Was 175 dollars refurb. Just an FYI, the apple store online sells the 80 gig refurbs for 169 and do not charge shipping. The just don't always have them in stock. Comparing it to my iPhone ( which sounds great ) through Sony Professional MDR-7506 Studio Monitor head phones and through the Apple ear buds I proclaim them ( iPhone and iPod 120 ) to be so close to identical I can't tell them apart.

I compared them using the exact same tracks of dynamic classical music including human voice, highs and pipe organ.

Any difference at all I leave up to slight difference in volume setting.

In other words : I AM TOTALLY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE !

There may have been a problem in the past. If so it seems they have taken care of it, in the refurb. or otherwise.
