I have purchased three of these 2nd generation shuffles. All three have had the same, exact problem, and none of them work, even though I've only owned them a month. I bought them for myself and my two kids. They worked at first, but upon charging, updating software, and adding songs, they inevitably had some sort of software problem and quit working. I searched Apple's support area, and although I've now spent countless hours trying to fix my particular problem, I have been unable to even find the problem listed on Apple's website, and I am unable to actually speak to a human being about the issue.
