This is my second shuffle, my other is a 1 gb. Would have purchased the 2 gb from the start but I didn't think I would get as much use out of it as I do. So I bought this one and it's GREAT! I wanted to get this shuffle instead of the new model cause I can connect it to external speakers and still do the adjustments on the pod and not on the earphones like the newer model and still can use any earphones I want on this pod.
