It took alot of playing with this device to figure out how to load tunes. The manual is pretty much useless and I consider both my husband and I pretty good at tech things. Some other people told me the same concern and even told me that you could'nt load cd's. Once we did figure it out, it is really very easy to load. The sound quality is great and just right for someone who just wants a player for just music. Ended up being very happy with the purchase.
