I purchased an Apple iPod shuffle 1 GB for my husband because he does landscaping and I thought he might like to listen to music while he works. He loves it! It holds over 200 songs and the battery lasts forever! It is very simple to use and we don't have to worry about him dropping it, it is a very hardy little machine. It even clips to his shirt pocket. And the music is crisp and loud. I'm ordering me one for taking to the gym, my husband won't share his :-) The only thing he complained about was the headphones that came with it, they wouldn't stay in his ear and couldn't compete with the sound of his mowers. We bought a better headphone set, problem solved.
